There is still a bug despite our best efforts to prevent it: going to the river dungeon beside the owl will cause sprites to have problems displaying. Save the game if this happens and refresh the page/emulator to fix it.
It's funny because I spent two weeks before this fixing specifically this bug and here it is popping up again like nobody's business, lol
This update focuses mainly on enemy AI and fixing a lot of gamebreaking bugs, as well as improving the graphics in a lot of places and touching up color palettes. And in general polishing it while preparing for the full final release.
keep going on devving this gbc rom in the world of shmups you got something really good right here.
I would even suggest making a series out of it where you have same characters and some additional characters and keep the storyline the same but keep it evolving from game to game and add different types of shmups to the series maybe even make some pc engine ports overall stunning wothere can't wait for the final release .k
I would really like to continue making games with these characters and stories keeping up with the shmup + rpg kind of thing, I do like your sugesstion of making games for other platforms, was thinking about the SNES or Gameboy Advance but PC Engine does sound very fitting as it was a shmup powerhouse of a console
